The ABC Animal Sanctuary is totally reliant on the generosity of the public to enable us to care for the animals that come to us needing our help and support. As well as our own ABC - organised fund-raising events which we organise throughout the year, supporters of our charity take it on themselves to organise events on our behalf. Over recent years we have seen quiz nights, marathon runs, equestrian events, teddy bears made especially for us to sell, ABC wristbands being sold, school toy sales, and even a sponsored climb up Kilimanjaro. To all these kind - and adventurous - people we offer our grateful thanks.
Last October we were approached by two young ladies who have entered the Duke of Edinburgh Award scheme. Anabel and Vikki have chosen as a challenge to raise money for two charities - the 'Dame Vera Lynn Trust' and also the 'ABC Animal Sanctuary'. To raise funds the two girls have decided to organise a musical charity show entitled "Rhapsody of Sound" to be held at the Capitol Theatre, Horsham, on Sunday 1st February. For the past few weeks they have been organising and holding auditions in the area to select the stars of the show. If you would like a pleasant afternoon of musical entertainment while at the same time helping to support our sanctuary and the "Dame Vera Lynn Trust" then please come and give your support to the concert, enjoy the afternoon, and reward two extremely enterprising young ladies for their very hard work. Please find below a copy of the poster giving full details.
