I was sorting through some photographs the other day when I came across some sets of contact sheets. In the days before digital photography they were the small prints photographers used to make and from which the subject would choose the best ones to be printed full size. Printing pictures was an expensive business in those days, so no-one wanted to waste money printing every shot. You'll see two shots have a red border round them - those were obviously the ones we were considering printing.

My rummage through the archives also produced some contact sheets which show me trying out a brunette look - I think dark and mysterious was the mood I was going for! But it started me thinking: do you think I was right to stay blonde, or do you think I should have gone brunette? When I was debating whether to be blonde or brunette - I thought brunette was a more serious image - the decision was made for me by top casting director, Maud Spector. She said if I wanted to play Spanish maids I should keep the dark hair!
If you send me an email letting me know, I'll put them all in a hat (I have pictures of me in hats, too!), and the first one out will win a signed copy of the either the blonde or the brunette contact sheet. It's just a bit of fun, but I would like to know what you think.
